About the Book
and the Divine Path of Happiness
A Logical Guide for finding Truth to Apply it in your life.
By Robert E. Lasson
All Things Testify of God
How to Find Truth by Using All of Your Senses to Cultivate an Honorable Character
Intellectual Senses: Logical deduction, Evidence & Testimony of credible witnesses
Physical Senses: Sight, Hearing, Taste, Smell &, etc.
Spiritual Senses: Intuition, Feelings, & Emotions
Every person who has been even the least curious and contemplative has wondered what the real purpose of life is. Many have also wondered why life is so challenging and some may have even sadly stated, “Life is tough and then you die.”
But it doesn’t have to be that way for you.
Sources of truth are many and varied. They can be physical, intellectual, or spiritual. Evidence can be presented in many forms, such as physical artifacts that are discovered, books that are written, ideas that are proposed, and individual experiences shared. Seekers of truth must be willing to use their whole being to weigh the evidence and come to a conclusion of truth or error. Using your physical, intellectual and spiritual senses is the means of becoming aware of everything in your life.
About the Author
Robert E. Lasson received his Associate in Science degree from Snow College and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University. He has been a life-long student of science, religion, history, and human social interactions. These studies and the insight gained have inspired him to seek to live by the correct principles learned and shared in this work. Nevertheless, he acknowledges that living by these principles is a constant challenge that is not always successfully applied. This book has been difficult to write due to the personal intellectual, spiritual, and moral challenges it directs. However, as Spencer W. Kimball said in his “Miracle of Forgiveness”, “we would not have much motivation to righteousness if all speakers and writers postponed discussing and warning until they themselves were perfected.”
The author worked in engineering and management leadership positions at IBM Corp. for 12 years and 23 years for Hewlett-Packard Corp. During his years at IBM and HP Robert served for fifteen years on the Technology Industrial Advisory Board at Brigham Young University, where he was awarded, Honorary Alumnus, from Tau Alpha Pi Alpha Utah Chapter. He has also served in many religious assignments of leadership that have provided experience and learning for the application of the truth and insights presented in this work. A great debt is owed to his family and all the inspired individuals the author has met, read, and quoted in the preparation of this book.

BOOK REVIEW
by Richard Bernard
(Richard is a technologist & author who works with the Gospel Library
that is the official gospel study app of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)
What is the purpose of life, and how can anyone know what is true are just two questions the author brings up in the preface. These questions, along with some others Lasson tackles as the protagonist Jared is troubled and grief-stricken due to the recent death of his father. Jared wishes he could find someone, a guide, to help him find the answers to his questions. While dreaming, he meets Elias, who helps Jared find the answers.
If you enjoy a good story mingled with religious and philosophical discussions, then this book is for you.
The author is very methodical in answering life's questions. He meticulously provides footnotes and leads the reader in the quest for truth as he examines intellectual, physical, and spiritual realms.
Lasson has some interesting charts to help the reader explore on their own the search for truth. In addition to an extensive bibliography to further help with that quest.
The book is thought-provoking, intermingled with an exciting and easy-to-read story; the reader will feel some regret when Jared and Elias part ways.
The book is well-written, engaging, and thought-provoking.
